How-to: Configure Act! email auto-attach for Xact Inbox

Follow the these steps to disable Act! auto-attach for inbound and/or outbound emails:

Note: These instructions are only applicable for Act! 2019 (v21) and newer.

Steps:

Open Tools - Preferences

Select Email & Outlook Sync tab, open E-mail System Setup

Step through (click 'Next') until Record History of Sent Emails is displayed

Select 'None' to disable auto-attach outbound emails

Select 'None' to disable auto-attach inbound emails

Follow through and leave other settings unchanged, when presented select Finish to save changes.

You may need to restart Outlook afterwards.
